In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
